Hailing from the Volta region of Ghana in West Africa, Kofi started dancing at the age of 8. After 12 years of studying African drumming, dance and performance he went on to join several high profile dance ensembles, such as Accra dance, New generation dance and Brekete. Kofi relocated to the UK in the late 90’s where he continued to perform with respected companies such as Adzido and Ablade. In 2006, he was approached by Kojo and Kwaku, and asked to teach the Danceafreaka classes which their company had developed. This rest is history!
